Alongside the entry-level Microsoft Lumia 435, the company also announced another entry-level device the Microsoft Lumia 532 and Lumia 532 Dual SIM (the Dual SIM version). It would run on the Windows Phone with Lumia Denim update and also comes with Cortana in select markets.
The Microsoft Lumia 532 is a slight upgrade to the already available Lumia 530. It features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) WVGA LCD display, front VGA camera and a 5MP FixedFocus camera with Lumia camera. Under the hood is the 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage, up to 30GB space of free OneDrive storage and a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB space.
It comes preloaded with Office suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), OneNote, Skype and Microsoft Outlook. The Microsoft Lumia 532 weighs 131.8 grams, is backed by a 1560mAh battery and supports 3G connectivity. It is available for €79 (before tax and subsidies) and would be available in stores across Africa, India, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Europe by February.
Nigeria is a market for Lumia devices so it is expected to be available for around N17,000 to N19,000 in Naira.
