The Microsoft Lumia 535 has been officially announced carrying the Microsoft Lumia brand and would come in Single and Dual SIM models.
The Dual SIM model is dubbed the Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual SIM and are both said to be a 5x5x5 smartphone -5-inch screen, 5MP rear camera and a front facing 5MP camera.
As expected, Microsoft Devices has finally ditched the ‘Nokia’ brand from most its devices and web pages starting with the ‘Lumia smartphone’ which is powered by the company’s Windows Phone OS. Both the Single and Dual SIM models would come with the same specifications with the difference known is just the number of SIM options.
Specs-wise, the Microsoft Lumia 535 packs a 5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, powered by a1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a micro SD card for expansion purpose (up to 128GB).
On the rear is a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a a front facing 5MP camera with wide angle. Connectivity options includes – GPS/aGPS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and 3G connectivity. The Microsoft Lumia 535 smartphone measures 140.2×72.4×8.8 mm, weighs 146 grams, runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim and packs a 1905 mAh battery.
Like most Lumia smartphones, the Microsoft Lumia 535 will be available in Cyan, Bright Green, Bright Orange, White, Dark Grey, and Black colour options. The device has been announced to cost €110 (before tax and subsidies) and would be available in China, Hong Kong and Bangladesh markets with others following at a later date.
