Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM Launched in India for INR 10199

Microsoft has officially launched the Lumia 540 Dual SIM smartphone in India; the device is retailing for INR 10199 ($160) in Black, Cyan, Orange and White colour options. It would be available on Online and offline stores but pre-orders is already underway.

Microsoft is also throwing in some perks (special deals) for buyers – Users would get Rs 1000 cash back on recharges from Paytm, free Ganaa+ subscription for two months and they would get double data from Airtel for two months. 

Recaping the specs, The Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM as it’s name suggests comes with Dual SIM support and supports 3G connectivity. On the rear there is a 8MP camera with F/2.2 aperture, LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera with wide angle lens for Selfies.

The rest of the specs includes – a 5-inch (1270 x 720 pixels) HD LCD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot, 3G, Wi-fi, Bluetooth, GPS and is backed by a 2200mAh battery. 

The Lumia 540 Dual SIM weighs 152 grams, weighs 9.35mm thick and currently runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim update, but is one of the device first in line to get the Windows 10 OS.
