Microsoft is expected to release the final version of the Windows 10 for Mobile in the summer and as expected a flagship smartphone running the OS from the company is expected. The OS is expected to be available for tablets, PC and even the Xbox.
It’s been over a year we saw a flagship device from Microsoft (Nokia) in its Lumia brand of smartphones – instead we have seen so many mid-ranges and entry-level Lumia devices announced. Well, here comes a flagship Lumia smartphone – Microsoft Lumia 935 Windows 10 Smartphone which exists only in Concept – the device would run Windows 10 for mobile and packs a powerful 31MP Pureview camera.
Detailing the specs of the Microsoft Lumia 935 Concept we have a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QuadHD capacitive touchscreen display. The device has a dual texture polycarbonate casing and very thin bezels. The dual texture back cover is removable.
On the front there is a 8MP snapper with wide angle lens and a 31MP Pureview OIS Camera with Carl Zeiss lens and possible Xenon flash. One has to wonder how a 31MP camera will fit into a 6.9mm device without protruding at the back, but since it’s just a concept we won’t dwell so much on the issue. Asides the display and the camera details; others specs features are not detailed. We expect a smartphone of this nature would command a very powerful chipset – maybe the Snapdragon 810 processor.
The Microsoft Lumia 935 Concept smartphone is designed by Ryan Smalley. The device is also expected to come with accessories like Camera Grip – for taking photos in a convenient manner and doubles as a battery charger; DC-X Tripod which is also used to take pictures.
