Microsoft has launched the SNIPP3T (pronounced – snippet) news app for iOS users – iPad and iPhone, the app allows users subscribe and follow their favourite celebrity icon. The app not only provide gossips, news and photos, it also provides gists and videos about user’s celebrity of choice or famous person powered by Bing.
SNIPP3T currently has a very large pool of celebrities and famous (both alive and dead) thanks to Bing which also is behind Cortana. The app can be accessed either by signing-in via a Facebook account to see what celebrities your friends are following or by skipping the option and do a simple search without logging in.
SNIPP3T is available at the App store for iOS (iOS 7 devices and upwards). It is not available for Android Users and surprisingly Windows phone users too. But we expect an Android and Windows Phone version to follow soon.
Also, the app is not available for all countries at the moment. Microsoft is no stranger to iOS apps as the company has hosts of different apps for the Apple owned platform numbering over Thirty (30). Some of the apps are free while the minor few others are paid.
