Microsoft has unveiled the next-generation Surface PC to empowering designers, developers, artists and scientists to imagine and build. The Microsoft Surface Book 2 is a portable powerhouse with all the benefits of a laptop, tablet and a portable studio.
Powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel quad-core processors, the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is up to 5x more powerful than its predecessor – the Surface Book and almost twice as powerful as the 2017 Apple MacBook Pro. It is available in two models: either 13.5-inch or 15-inch with PixelSense display and retains the Surface Pen feature and Surface On-Screen support from the Surface Book.
Pre-loaded with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the new 2-in-1 laptop can be used in four modes: Laptop, Tablet, Studio and View. It lasts up to 17 hours of video playback time which is 70-percent more battery life than MacBook Pro 13-inch and comes equipped with a full array of ports, including USB-A, USB-C, and full-size SD card.
The Surface Book 2 is also enhanced for gaming (powerful enough to handle 1080p and 60 FPS games on PC) and Windows Mixed Reality Ultra.
