Couple of months ago, Microsoft unveiled the Wi-Fi only variant of the Surface Go – its lightest and most compact Surface yet. Now, the company has announced that the Microsoft Surface Go LTE is now available for pre-order in select markets around the world.
Priced starting at $679 USD for consumers and $729 USD for commercial customers, the Microsoft Surface Go LTE offers the perfect balance of performance, portability and connectivity. LTE Advanced is provided by the inclusion of Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 LTE modem.
Asides this, the 2-in-1 tablet maintains the same specs as the Wi-Fi version. It has a 10-inch (1800 x 1200 pixels) Pixelsense display with 3:2 aspect ratio and supports the Surface Pen with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, low pen parallax, low latency and precision.
The rest of the specs includes 7th-Gen Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y, up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB SSD, USB-C 3.1, MicroSD card reader, headphone jack, Windows Hello camera, Surface Connect and up to nine hours of battery life. It runs Windows 10 with S by default but can be switched to the full version of Windows 10 OS for free.
