The New Microsoft Surface Laptop 3, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro X

Alongside the Surface Duo and Surface Neo, Microsoft announced the new Surface Laptop 3 and new updates to the 2:1 surface pro line – the Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro X.

The new generation of Surface Laptop arrives in either 13.5-inches or 15-inches touchscreen display choices starting at US$ 999 and US$ 1,199 respectively. Both models have larger glass trackpad, USB-C and USB-A ports and fast charging, up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB SSD, OmniSonic speakers, dual far-field Studio Mics and offer up to 11.5 hours plus of typical usage.

The 13.5-inch model is based on the 10th-gen Intel Core processor and available in tone-on-tone Alcantara and aluminium all-metal finishes as well as new Cobalt Blue and Sandstone colours. The bigger 15-inch model is powered by the new AMD Ryzen Surface Edition processor.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro X

The Surface Pro 7 brings improvements such the 10th-gen Intel processor, USB-A and USB-C ports and better battery life – up to 10.5 hours of battery life. It has the same 12.3-inch PixelSense Display touchscreen, weighs up to 790 grams, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB SSD, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Surface Connect port and Surface Type Cover port. Pricing starts at US$ 749.

According to Microsoft, the Surface Pro X is currently the thinnest, lightest, most powerful and most connected Surface Pro yet. It packs a 13.3-inch edge-to-edge touchscreen display, Qualcomm-produced custom Microsoft SQ1 processor and offers LTE-A pro connectivity. The battery not only takes under an hour to charge from 0 to 80%, it also lasts up to 13 hours of usage.

The Microsoft Surface Pro X starts at US$ 999 and the new Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard with Slim Pen (sold separately), which converts it into a laptop, has backlit keys, large multi-touch glass trackpad and includes a dock for storing and charging the new Slim Pen.
