Microsoft has finally announced the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 at the surface event in New York today. The Surface Pro 3 is dubbed as the tablet which can replace the laptop and also is a far more better upgrade to the Surface Pro 2.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a 12.2-Inch tablet with 2160 x 1440-pixel resolution Full 1080p HD display with an aspect ration of 3:2. The device measures 7.93 in x 11.5 in x 0.36 in, weighs 1.76 lbs and has different storage capacity of 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB.
The Surface Pro 3 is powered by 4th generation Intel® Core™ processor (with Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 options), 4GB or 8GB of RAM and a multiposition kickstand that helps the Surface Pro 3 move in between modes like the writing, working and movie mode. There are front and rear camera which are capable of 1080p HD recording estimated to be 5MP.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, runs on the Windows 8.1 pro and capable of running all the windows softwares.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 come with different accessories such as the Surface Pro type cover, additional surface pen, additional 36W power supply, additional pen loop, docking station for the surface pro, and the surface ethernet adapter.
Pricing and Availability
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is officially available in the US and Canada starting from June 20 and pre-orders have already begun for the slate. 26 additional markets including UK, China, Australia, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Italy and France would get the Surface Pro 3 and selected accessories by the last week in August.
Pricing for the Microsoft Pro 3 varies according to the Core CPU, and the versions available are the core i3, core i5, core i7 CPUs.
