At the Surface event last week, Microsoft announced the debut of new Surface devices – the Surface Studio – a 28-inch all-in-one PC designed for creators and professionals. The company also announced the Surface Dial and an improved Surface Book with much power than the last-gen.
Surface Studio
Sporting a 28-inch 4.5K Ultra HD screen, the Surface Studio transforms (Desktop Mode or Studio Mode) from a desktop PC into a powerful digital canvas, becoming a creative studio in the process and delivers 63% more pixels than a state-of-the-art 4K TV. It works with the new Surface Dial and comes bundled with Surface Keyboard, Mouse and Pen.

Pricing for the Microsoft Surface Studio starts at $2,999 for the Base model (1TB / Intel Core i5 – 8GB RAM / 2GB GPU) and goes up to $4,199 for the high-end model (2TB / Intel Core i7 – 32GB RAM / 4GB GPU). It is already available for pre-order in the U.S and will begin shipping starting from mid-December.

Surface Dial
The Microsoft Surface Dial is a new peripheral designed for the creative process and integrates with Windows 10 to work with any Surface device (Surface Pro 4, Surface Book, Surface Studio) for a faster and more intuitive way to scroll, zoom and navigate. It also enables a set of unique experiences exclusive to Surface Studio and is available on pre-order for $99.
New Surface Book with Performance Base
The new Microsoft Surface Book with Performance Base, keeps the same slim body design and packs 16 hours of battery life (that’s 30% more). It features 6th-gen Intel Core i7 processors and possess more than twice the graphics processing power as the original Surface Book Model. Pricing starts at $2,399.
