Cubot has announced a new smartphone – the Cubot S600. The 5-inch sized device has a mix of glass and metal body build which is available in Black, Gold and White colour options.
The Cubot S600 is equipped with a fingerprint sensor which unlocks the device in 0.3 second. The sensor is said to be one of the largest around, making it suitable for people with large hands and also contributes towards the speedy unlock time.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, it sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD JDI AH-IPS display and a pixel density of 294ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit Mediatek MT6735A processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.
For photography, there is a front facing 8-megapixels camera with 4P lens and 88-degrees wide angle viewing for selfies; and a rear facing 16-megapixels Samsung-made camera with 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture and Blue Glass infrared filter. Connectivity options onboard includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, OTG and GPS.
The Cubot S600 has Dual Micro SIM slots, microSD card slot for storage expansion supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE networks, measures 146.5 x 71.3 x 7.5mm in dimensions and is backed by a 2700mAh battery.
