Fly has announced the second ever smartphone from the company’s Cirrus series of devices and successor to the Fly Cirrus – the Fly Cirrus 2 in Russia. The 5-inch sized mid-ranger is available from both online and offline stores in the country for a price tag of RUB 7590 (USD 118 or EUR 107) in Black and White colour options.
Moving to the specs, the Fly Cirrus 2 sports a 5-inch IPS ONCELL capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired along with Mali 400 MP1 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage space.
For photography, there is a 8-Megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-Megapixels camera for selfies. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot fore storage expansion up to 32GB and connectivity onboard includes – GPS with AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, 3G HSDPA+ but not 4G LTE support.
Measuring 140.6 x 70.6 x 8.1 mm in dimensions and weighing 123 grams in size; the Fly Cirrus 2 has Dual SIM slot with Dual Standby and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. It is backed by a 2000mAh Li-ion battery which is expected to provide up to 7.5 hours of talk time, 150 hours of standby time and 50 hours of audio playback time.
