LG has officially made the 3G-only LG Ray smartphone available; it will roll-out in CIS (Commonwealth Independent States) markets this week before moving to Latin American markets. The device surfaced days ago and has been selling in Russia for a price equivalent to USD 231 (RUB 14990).
Going over the specifications, the LG Ray sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with a pixel density of 267ppi and will arrive in Gold, Silver and Titan Black colour options. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592M clocked at 1.4GHz with 1GB of RAM.
For photography, there is a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and a rear facing 13MP camera. The device has the signature LG rear buttons, inherits the LG UX features such as Knock Code and Gesture Shot which is synonymous with the company’s G Series and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
