Mid-range LG Ray X190 debuts with 5.5-inch HD display and Android 5.1 in Russia

LG has debuted a new mid-range smartphone in Russia, the LG Ray X190 (or LG Ray) as it is known is one for those who like to consume multimedia (musics and videos) and social media contents. It is already on pre-order in the country for a price tag of RUB 14,990 (USD 231 / EUR 216).

Moving to the specs, the LG Ray X190 sports a 5.5-inch IPS On-Cell display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a pixel density of 267ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592M processor clocked at 1.4GHz with 1GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage. 

In the camera segment, there is a front facing 8-megapixels camera for selfies as well as video chats and a rear facing 13-Megapixels with LED flash. It supports 2G and 3G networks only; connectivity options onboard includes – Wi-Fi 802.11n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/A-GPS.

Like a typical LG device the buttons are also mounted on the rear and it comes pre-loaded with Knock Code. Measuring 152.5 x 76.4 x 9.3mm in dimensions and weighing 156 grams; the LG Ray X190 has Dual Micro SIM slots, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB cards) and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. 

The LG Ray X190 is backed by a 3000mAh battery which guarantees up to 10 hours of talk-time and 500 hours of standby time.
