A new HTC smartphone, this time a midrange one – the HTC E9sw has been certified on TENAA in China; the device is a midrange variant of the flagship HTC One E9+ which is available in Asia. HTC has been a roll in terms of devices this year, in 2015 alone we have seen the HTC One M9, One E9+ , One E9, One M9+; it looks like the company is readying another One smartphone but this time a midrange one.
While the HTC E9sw is a smaller variant of the HTC One E9+; the device takes its design inspiration from the HTC One M9 and HTC Desire 826. Moving to the tech specifications, The HTC E9sw sports the same 5.5-inch display just at the HTC One E9+ but with a (1280 x 720 pixels) HD AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a 13MP front camera with LED flash and a front facing 4MP Ultra-pixel camera for selfies just like the the One E9+.
The device measures 158.7 × 79.7 × 7.64mm in dimensions, weighs 165 grams, and supports the following network bands – GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA. The HTC E9sw is backed by a 2600mAh battery which is expected to keep the light on for some hours.
