Commenting at the Launch event, Marketing head, LG Mobiles India, Amit Gujral said,
“Most of the people who use Internet on smartphones use 3G services as 4G is still at a nascent stage in our country. Keeping this in mind, LG has launched LG Max as we are sure that this smartphone will offer unprecedented value to 3G consumers. This smartphone offers great balance of form, function and price and we expect it to be even more successful than its predecessor.”
Going over the specs again, the LG Max sports a 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) FWVGA resolution display (196ppi), powered by a quad-core cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and there is 8GB space of internal storage onboard with the option to expand via a microSD card slot.
The Max uses a 8MP/5MP camera combination on the rear and front; with the rear camera having a LED flash. The camera also has features like Selfie Flash and Gesture shot. Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB 2.0.
