Vietnamese based company, Mobell has recently launched a new smartphone – the Nova X. The premium looking Mobell Nova X comes with a relatively thin body build (6.5mm) and is available from Mobile World shop outlets in Vietnam for a price tag of VND 3,900,000 which is about $173 USD/€157 EUR.
Housed in a alloy metal chassis, the Mobell Nova X sports a 5-inch 2.5D (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS AMOLED display with a pixel density of 294ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The screen can also be used with wet hands and gloves.
The device is equipped with a 64-bit Octa-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. It uses an Hybrid Dual SIM slot which means users can either go with two SIM slots or a SIM slot and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB.
For photography, there is a 13MP camera and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies. The fingerprint sensor can also be found on the back (not directly below the main camera); it can store up to 5 fingerprints, secure apps, toggle on/off the camera and also supports Guest Mode.
The Mobell Nova X supports 4G LTE connectivity and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It is backed by a 2100mAh camera with intelligent Battery-Saving mode and Mediatek Pump Express employed for fast charging features (shorted traditional charging time by up to 45-percent).
