Lenovo’s mobile subsidiary – Motorola is currently working on new budget Moto Smartphones. Dubbed the Moto C and Moto C Plus, the new 5-inch devices targets first time buyers and like the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus – boots near stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat OS out-of-the-box.
Both the Moto C and Moto C Plus pack a 5-inch display, Dual SIM slots, capacitive touch buttons and front camera flash but their internals differ. The ‘C’ has a 854 x 480 FWVGA screen resolution and available in either 3G or 4G versions while the ‘C Plus’ is strictly 4G and has 1280 x 720 HD screen resolution.
The Moto C is backed by a 2350mAh battery and powered by either a 1.3GHz quad-core 32-bit Mediatek processor (3G) or a 1.1GHz quad-core 64-bit Mediatek processor (4G). The C Plus on the other hand packs a 4000mAh battery and powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit Mediatek processor.
The ‘C’ also features 1GB of RAM, either 8GB or 16GB built-in expandable storage and rear 5MP camera with LED flash (FF on 3G | AF on 4G) while the ‘C Plus’ features 1GB or 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in expandable storage and rear 8MP AF camera with LED. Both devices have a front 2MP camera with LED flash and arrives in Black, Gold, Red and White colours.
