Lenovo has officially announced new smartphones under the popular Moto brand inherited from Motorola. Launched in New Delhi, India the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones run stock Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and is backed by a 3000mAh battery with turbo charging support.
Both the Moto G4 and G4 Plus sports Water Repellant nano-coated body, Dual SIM slots with 4G LTE & VOLTE support, 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display with a pixel density of 401ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood sits the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 405 GPU.
Differences between both device comes in the aspect of body dimensions, main camera, memory (RAM), storage and the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner. The G4 sports a 13MP main camera with Dual-Tone LED Flash and f/2.2 Aperture while the G4 Plus sports a 16MP camera with Laser AutoFocus, Dual-Tone LED Flash and f/2.0 Aperture.
The Moto G4 measures 153 x 76.6 x 7.9-9.8 mm in dimensions, weighs 157 grams in size and comes in 2GB/16GB RAM and storage option only while the Moto G4 Plus has the same dimensions, weighs 155 grams, includes a fingerprint sensor and arrives in either 2GB/16GB or 3GB/32GB options.
Both are expected to arrive in Black and White colours and are sold exclusively on Amazon India. The G4 Plus has gone on sale for a price tag equivalent to US$ 200 (Rs 13,499)for the 2GB model and US$ 220 (Rs 14,999) for the 3GB model. The G4 will arrive next month (June).
