Motorola, a subsidiary of Lenovo, has been in the new of late with a number of upcoming Moto Series smartphones. While there is no word yet on when they will launch the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus, both devices are expected to be released soon as follow up to last year’s Moto E3 and Moto E3 Power.
The Motorola Moto E4 will reportedly feature a 5-inch display with 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) display while the Moto E4 Plus will have a bigger display and possibly a bit higher screen res. Both devices are powered by a Mediatek processor (Quad-core MT6737 for the E4) and boot Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The E4 packs 16GB built-in storage space, Bluetooth 4.2, Dual SIM slots, up to 4GB of RAM, rear 5MP main camera, front 2MP selfie camera and a 2800mAh battery. The E4 Plus on the other hand is tipped to pack a 5000mAh battery, the largest ever yet from a Motorola smartphone (the E3 Power had 3500mAh).
The rest of the Motorola Moto E4 Plus is unknown however it has attractive thin bezels, fingerprint sensor (home button) and a front facing camera flash while the Moto E4 has thick bezels. We should know more about these devices when they go official.
