Motorola has been relatively quiet for some months now, but that is about to change as there has been new leaks suggesting the company is already working on the 3rd generation Motorola Moto G (Moto G 2015) and the 3rd Gen Motorola Moto X (Moto X 2015).
Talking about the former, the Motorola Moto G 2015 press render has surfaced online and showing it in its true glory. The device has a a more polished look but asides that it is almost no different from the current Moto G 2014. There is no detailed specs to go along with the image.
From previous reports, the Moto G 2015 is codenamed Osprey, has the model number – XT1540 (Motorola XT1540) and achieved a decent score of 23,355 on AnTuTu. It is expected to feature a 4.97-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
8GB of space is available for storage and a microSD card slot is on-board for storage expansion. On the rear, there is a 13MP camera with Dual LED flash, a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. A lithium-ion battery (unknown capacity) backs the device.
