During the late hours of yesterday, Several images and a hands-on video of the upcoming Moto G 2015 from Motorola surfaced; showing the device in its full glory and most of the specs have already been detailed.
Moving to the Moto G 2015 specs; the device is expected to feature a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with a pixel density of 320ppi. There are backlit capacitive navigation buttons below the display, the bezels on the front are huge and the speakers are front facing.
Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the rear there is a 13MP camera with Dual LED flash, a front facing camera, boots Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a Lithium-ion battery. The device has its volume and power buttons on the side, a micro USB port at the bottom, a 3.5mm audio port on the top and the back covers are swappable.
The Motorola Moto G 2015 is codenamed Osprey, it supports 4G LTE and scored a decent total score of 23,355 on AnTuTu Benchmark website. This could very much be a prototype of the device or could the third generation Moto G be on its way? Only time will tell, but we could be looking at a July release date at least considering all the leaks.
