Motorola Moto Maxx Announced with 3900mAh battery

After surfacing in several leaks and as expected Motorola has officially announced the international version of the Droid Turbo, the Motorola Moto Maxx. Like it is known the Motorola Droid Turbo is exclusively available in the US on Verizon alone but with the Moto Maxx, motorola is reaching out to the Global market with the Moto Maxx.

Just like the Droid Turbo, the Motorola Moto Maxx is protected inside and outside by nano-coating whilst also coming with DuPont Kevlar fibre.

Moving to the specs, the Motorola Moto Maxx features a 5.2-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD display with a pixel density of 565ppi and protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen. Under the hood is a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.

There is a 21MP rear facing autofocus camera with Dual-LEd flash and a front facing 2MP camera. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Micro USB, Bluetooth. The Moto Maxx runs on Android 4.4.4 kitkat OS, has no microSD card slot but packs a 3900mAh battery. The battery is said to deliver up to 48 hours of usage and also comes with Motorola Turbo Charging which makes the smartphone last 8hours with just 15 minutes of charging.

The Moto Maxx is already available in Brazil via Motorola’s online store with a price tag of BRL 2,199 ($860) for the 64GB model. The device will also be available in Mexico by mid-November and other Latin American markets would get the device soon. There is no word on availability in other markets as at time of Launch.
