Motorola Moto X 2015 will have a 5.2-inch QHD display and 3280mAh battery

Now a Lenovo owned company, Motorola has been expected to introduce it’s flagship smartphone into the market to rival the LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy S6; it looks like the response is in the works. 

An upcoming flagship smartphone from the company believed to be the Motorola Moto X 2015 (or the Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen) as some sources call it. The Moto X 2015 is also known with is model name – Motorola XT1542.

Moving to the specs, the flagship device has a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD AMOLED display and is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8994 810 octa-core processor. The chipset would be paired with 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB space of internal storage. 

Handling photography on the phone is a 16MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies is also onboard. Overall, the Moto X 2015 would be backed by a 3280mAh battery and it would runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. 

There is no word on when the smartphone would go official; the company could decide to go with its One-year cycle which means a September release but if it wants to compete with the recently announced flagships then a sooner date is expected.
