Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen Specs Tipped

Not wanting to be left out of the party, Motorola is supposedly working on the third generation of the Motorola Moto X Smartphone which would be it’s flagship for 2015. While the Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen was it’s flagship for 2014, the smartphone ended up being overshadowed by the company’s Nexus 6 built for Google and the DROID Turbo which is available only from Verizon in the US.

Based on an insider information, the Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen specs includes – a 5.2-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) AMOLED display with a pixel density of 565ppi, which is the same used on the Motorola DROID Turbo. Under the hood, it would be powered by an Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 4GB of RAM and there would be two internal storage options to choose from either 32GB or 64GB.

Handling photography on the device would be a 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and the ability to record videos in slow motion. There is a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats. Rounding off the specs information, the Motorola Moto X 3rd Gen is expected to run on Android 5.11 and would be backed by a 3280mAh battery.

The Moto X 3rd Gen (Moto X 2015) is expected to go official around September if the company sticks to the one year-cycle as the Moto X 2nd Gen went official at that same time last year. Like all Motorola products it would be priced accordingly and provide the ‘value for money’ effect.
