Motorola has unveiled the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition in an event in New York today. It would be available in the US only and other regions would get the same device as the Moto X Style starting September. It priced at USD$399 unlocked and supports universal LTE bands which makes it compatible with the top four carriers in the country
The Motorola Moto X Pure Edition features a 5.7-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a pixel density of 515ppi, and is powered by a Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB RAM.
On the rear, there is a 21MP f/2.0 camera with Dual Tone LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera with LED flash and wide angle lens for taking selfies. The Moto X Pure Edition runs stock like Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and the company’s features such as Moto Assist, Moto Action, Moto Display, and Moto Voice.
The Motorola Moto X Pure Edition is backed by a 3000mAh battery which is expected to provide around 30 hours of mixed usage and comes with the company’s fast charging features. The device can be customised using the Moto Maker service with different colours, engraving and back casing materials applicable.
