Motorola has been relatively quiet over the past few month, however several leaks about upcoming smartphones from the Lenovo-owned company is now popping up. There are new developments concerning the upcoming Motorola Moto X and Motorola Moto G successors
The Motorola Moto X Sport is said to be the third generation Motorola Moto X which is expected to be unveiled in coming months. As the name suggests, the device could feature a more rugged outlook or have certifications that lets it withstand some rugged treatment.
The Moto X Sport features a 5.2-inch as it was on its predecessor and is backed by a quad-core CPU which is clocked at 1.4GHz, the make and model is unknown. On the rear, there device now has a 16MP camera which was previously 13MP; and on the front it now has a 5MP selfie camera which used to be 2MP.
On the other hand, the new-gen Moto X is expected to keep the same 5-inch display and would be powered by a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.4GHz. In terms of camera, it now has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP camera instead of the 8MP rear camera and 2MP camera combination on its predecessor.
There is no confirmation of the above specs but considering the images we gotten courtesy of Entel, the largest communication company in Chile adds some credibility to the story. A possible August launch dat is tipped, which is less than a month away.
