Motorola One Hyper with 64MP Main Camera, 45W Hyper Charging

The Motorola One Hyper is the latest addition to the Lenovo-backed company’s One smartphone series. One of the highlighted features of the device is its advanced camera system which consists of a primary 64MP (16MP Quad Pixel, f/1.9) rear camera with EIS and PDAF paired with a secondary 8MP (f/2.2, Laser AF) camera with 118-degree Ultra-wide lens. The inclusion of the Google CameraX API allows third party apps like Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok use Motorola’s AI camera technology, like HDR, Night Vision and Portrait Mode.

The front camera is a 32MP (8MP Quad Pixel, f/2.0) pop-up snapper, also with Night Vision mode. The pop-up camera is protected by an automatic mechanism which takes effect during a sudden drop or when flipped upside down while the rear fingerprint scanner also serves as a notification light.

Under the hood, the Motorola One Hyper is powered by the Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD). Power is provided by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 45W UPD 3.0 Hyper fast charging – this promises up to 12 hours of battery life with just 10 mins of charge. The device will arrive in Dark Amber, Deep Sea Blue and Fresh Orchid colours for a price tag of US$ 399.99.
