Lenovo-owned Motorola has announced a new Android One branded mid-range smartphone – the Motorola One Vision. The latest entrant to the Motorola One series is available in Brazil and will go on sale over the next few weeks and months in Europe, Mexico, Middle East, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Australia.
The Motorola One Vision has a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with 2520 x 1080 pixels resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 4D Corning Gorilla curved glass back and a Punch-Hole in the front screen to accommodate the 25MP selfie camera. The company is touting the ‘Vision’ moniker as a result of the device’s unique CinemaVision display (longer and narrower display) which makes it suitable for watching movies.
Photography is handled by an AI-enhanced primary 48MP (f/1.7) camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Night Vision mode paired with a 5MP (f/2.2) depth-sensing camera. The camera sensors uses Motorola’s Quad Pixel tech to stitch four pixels together with high-quality 12MP images. Internally, the device packs Samsung’s Exynos 9609 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage (expandable up to 512GB).
Power is supplied by a 3,500mAh battery with 15W TurboPower fast charger. The Motorola One Vision comes pre-loaded with Android 9 Pie (Android One Edition) with monthly security updates for up to three years and update to both Android Q and Android R. The rear Motorola logo houses the fingerprint sensor and arrives in Bronze and Sapphire Gradient colours.
