The Mouse-Box is an ultimate compact PC which is infact a mouse and houses a whole PC that all you just need is a monitor. Well you heard that right? It is not your everyday mouse, the cable connected or wireless mouse with LED light, No it isnt.
The Mouse-Box features a quad-core 1.4GHz ARM Cortex CPU, two USB 3.0 ports, 128GB space of flash storage, Wi-Fi connectivity, accelerometer, Gyroscope, and a micro HDMI port to connect to the monitor.
It is still unclear which operating system would work on it but it is expected to get run plenty of programs and data and it’s even more efficient if user is internet or Cloud storage reliant.
A statement on its official website states;
“From now on, you don’t need to buy a few devices to keep your computer always at hand. Mouse-Box uses the power of a mouse, an invariable component in a computer set for many years. By virtue of placing a computer in a mouse, the two most powerful elements have been combined in one unity.”
The whole team is lead by Przemysław Strzelczyk, a software engineer at Nokia Networks who is a Polish national. The product is still in prototype phase and the team is also said to be working on a wireless mouse pad charger.
The team is currently seeking financial assistance to launch the Mouse-Box in maybe a few months time – which means it could launch on a funding platform such as indiegogo or Kickstarter. The device would be available globally and is said to come very affordable.
