MSI has launched a revamped version of its mobile gaming notebooks with a whopping RAM of up to 32GB for the game lovers dubbed the GT72 Dominator Pro. The MSI GT72 Dominator Pro has been introduced in two models, the GT72 Dominator Pro-010 and the GT72 Dominator Pro-007.
The main talking of both laptops is its enormous RAM, the the GT72 Dominator Pro-010 has a 24GB while the GT72 Dominator Pro-007 has a 32GB RAM. Asides the RAM, the other difference is the hard drive, the Pro-010 packs a two M.2 128 GB SSDs in RAID 0 with a 1 TB hard drive while the Pro-007 packs a four M.2 128 GB SSDs in RAID 0 with a 1 TB hard drive.
Other features of both GT72 Dominator Pro variants includes Intel Core i7-4710HQ (2.5 GHz, 3.4 GHz) processor and Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 880M GPU with 8 GB of DDR5 VRAM, 17.3-inch anti-reflective screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution, Killer E2200 game networking (Ethernet), Killer N1525 Wireless AC connectivity, Blu-ray burner, a 1080p FHD webcam, SD Card reader, premium speakers with a subwoofer, 6 USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI 1.4 port, two mDP ports, and a programmable backlit SteelSeries keyboard.
Both device runs on Windows 8.1 and are powered by a 9 cell battery.
Both models of the MSI GT72 Dominator – Pro-010 and Pro-007 costs $2600 (around N422,000 in Naira) and $3000 (around N490,000 in Naira). Both variants are only available in the US market with no details on availability in other markets yet.
