Gionee has finally unveiled the Elife S7 which is the company’s latest in the popular S series. The device is not the slimmest device around but it 5.5mm thin, same thickness at the Gionee Elife S5.5.
The Gionee Elife S7 features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The back is also protected by Gorilla glass 3. Under the hood, we have an octa-core 64-bit 1.7Ghz MediaTek MT6752 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is no microSD card slot on-board.
A 13MP camera with Sony IMX214 sensor, LED flash and 8MP front camera with wide angle lens for selfies is on-board to handle photography. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G LTE.It also has Hi-Fi standard sound.
The Gionee Elife S7 comes with dual SIM support, weighs 126 grams, measures 139.8 x 67.4 x 5.5mm in dimensions and runs on Amigo 3.0 UI which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The device is fully backed by a 2750mAh battery.
The Elife S7 is available in pink, white and Black & Blue colour options with a $448 (€399, Rs 27,700 ) price tag. The device is expected to debut at some point in Nigeria but the Indian market would be getting it starting April 3rd.
