Lenovo announced new products at the MWC 2015 this week; the company announced three tablets too – Windows OS based Lenovo Miix 300 and two Android OS based slates – Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 and Tab 2 A8.
The Lenovo Miix 300 is the cheapest Windows tablet yet. It sports a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) display, powered by an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor with 2GB of RAM, up to 64GB space of internal storage, 5MP main camera, 2MP front camera, microSD card slot and one year free subscription to Microsoft office 365.
The slate runs Windows 8.1 OS and the battery is estimated to last around 7 hours of usage. It is expected to sell for $149 (and up) when it hit the stores by July 2015.
The second of the list is the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 features a 10.1-inch full HD IPS display, weighs 509 grams, measures 8.9mm thin and comes with Dolby Atmos technology for enhanced audio experience.
It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor, 8MP main camera, LTE, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Android 4.4 kitkat OS (upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop OS) and is backed by a 7200mAh battery which guarantees around 10 hours of usage. The Wi-Fi only model costs $199; the LTE model costs $279 in pearl white and crystal ble colour options starting April.
The last of the pack is the Lenovo Tab 2 A8, it sports a smaller 8-inch full HD display, Dolby Atmos audio technology, quad-core Mediatek processor, up to 32GB more space via a microSD card slot, 5MP main camera, Dual Band Wi-Fi and runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The slate weighs 360 grams and the international variant has Dual SIM support which allows both Voice calling and LTE. The Tab 2 A8 is available in pearl white, ebony, neon pink and midnight blue colour options for $129 (Wi-Fi only) and $179 (LTE and Dual-SIM slots) starting June.
