Truth be told, the Meizu MX4 and it’s more advanced/pro version – the Meizu MX4 Pro are solid looking devices but like most Chinese OEMS these devices are not readily available in other markets.
According to GizChina, Meizu is interested in selling it devices outside of the Chinese markets but it’s fears the device won’t have that much appeal. The company is said to be partnering with Nokia to bring another MX4 device which would bear the moniker – Meizu MX4 Supreme. This model would be the international models of the MX4 series.
The Meizu MX4 Supreme will keep the same shape and razor-sharp bezels but will have its hardware, software and coloring decided by Nokia. It is obvious the smartphone will not share any name (at least yet) with the Finnish company as it is still honouring its agreement with Microsoft concerning commercialising device with its name (this expires by 2016).
Personally, when the name Nokia pops up you just have that feel that the device would be top notch. Lets not forget, people praised the company for its recent tablet effort – the Nokia N1 which has sold-out twice during two flash sales.
Meizu alongside Nokia would do a good job on the MX4 Supreme; but this ain’t even official yet so it could still be all rumours for now.
