Today marked the starting of the Holy Month of Ramadan which Muslims around the world fast from dawn to sunset, pray and abstain from all forms of worldly pleasures. Search Giant, Google has released a new app to commemorate this year’s Ramadan Season; this app is called My Ramadan Companion.
The basis of the My Ramadan Companion apps is to help Muslims get the most out of the Holy month with tailored, local and customised informations the web has to offer. You will be able to check out traffic in your area, check the appropriate time for sunset in your location and navigate to the nearest charity Iftar.
Also you would be able to enjoy Ramadan content from youtube, health tips to stay fit throughout the month. Depending on your location, Google Now would suggest relevant cards which would help you find Halal restaurants around you, recommend apps that would wake you up for Sahur, countdown to Iftar time and more.
