MyPhone My36 announced with FHD display, 3GB RAM and Android Lollipop

Philippines based brand, MyPhone has announced the MyPhone My36; the 4G LTE enabled smartphone is available in the country for a price tag of Php 6999 (US$ 149). It will be sold in MyPhone kiosks and stores, it also has the map of the country engraved into the back.

Moving to the specs details, the MyPhone My36 sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) display with a pixel density of 424ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

Internal storage stands at 16GB and is expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot. For photography, there is a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with Samsung Sensor, Phase Detection AutoFocus and Dual LED flash.

Connectivity options on the MyPhone My36 includes – 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG and GPS/A-GPS. The device has Dual Micro SIM slots, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a non-removable 2900mAh battery.

The MyPhone My35 which was announced in November is a little behind the My36; it instead has a 5-inch HD display compared to 5.2-inch FHD, comes with a bigger 3140mAh battery to 2900mAh on the latter. It is however priced lesser at Php 6888 (USD 147).
