2016 so far, has been buzzing with activities in terms of the number of devices released. Before the end of the year, more are expected to join the list. Vernee, a new company from China has joined the smartphone market and instead of starting with budget devices like most, the company is starting with a flagship – Apollo.
The Vernee Apollo will pack up to 6GB of RAM like the Vivo Xplay 5 and is expected to go on sale by late April 2016. Under the hood sits the Deca-core Mediatek Helio X20 MT6797 processor clocked up to 2.5GHz with ARM Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box.
Housed in a full metal unibody, Apollo features a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD display, 128GB built-in storage space, front facing 8-megapixel camera and a rear facing 21-megapixel camera with Sony IMX230 sensor. It would use the USB Type-C port and possibly 3D Force touch technology.
