New Nokia 105 is the masses friendly $20 feature phone

Microsoft has announced the New Nokia 105, it comes with some improvements over its predecessor which also has the same name. It would go on sale starting this June for $20 (around N4,000 in Naira) before local taxes and subsidies.

The New Nokia 105 (Nokia 105 2015) is available in Single SIM and Dual SIM models – the New Nokia 105 Dual SIM. The device keeps the same 1.45-inch LCD screen, runs on the Series 30+ operating system and still uses the mini SIM. It measures 108.5 x 45.5 x 14.1mm in dimensions and comes in Cyan, Black and White colours. 

So what has changed in the device, it now supports up to 2000 contacts which should be more than enough for saving contact details. The 800mAh battery gives it a longer battery life – it provides 15 hours of talk time for both models, around 35 days of standby time for the single SIM model and 25 days for the Dual SIM model.

Other improvements on the New Nokia 105 includes – more enhanced audio quality, an updated rounded body design, voice clarity and not forgetting the FM Radio and Torchlight which let’s people stay loyal to these Nokia feature phones.
