HMD Global has announced the global version of the China-exclusive Nokia X6 smartphone. The Nokia 6.1 Plus, as it is known, will be globally available starting with Hong Kong from July 24th for a price tag of HK$ 2,288 (US$ 290). Blue and White are the available colour options.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS out-of-the-box and is part of Google’s Android One program. It has the same metal body frame with glass back, dual rear cameras with AI portrait and scene recognition, USB Type-C port, front facing 16MP camera with AI selfies and others as the X6; however, it only arrives in 4GB RAM with 64GB built-in storage option.
