HMD Global has officially announced the launch of the latest member of Nokia’s Android smartphone family, the Nokia 7 in China. The mid-ranger comes pre-loaded with Android Nougat OS (swift upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo promised) and the Dual-Sight technology found on the Nokia 8 to create Bothies.
Housed in a glass plus diamond cut aluminium metal body, the Nokia 7 sports a 5.2-inch FHD LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, fingerprint sensor, rear 16MP camera with f/1.8 aperture and dual-tone LED flash, front 5MP wide-angle selfie camera and 3,000mAh battery with 9V/2A fast charging.
The Dual-Sight mode on the camera uses the front and rear cameras simultaneously to create Bothies – split-screen photos and videos. On the inside, the device packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core mobile platform paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and depends on a for power.

Pricing and Availability
The Nokia 7 is already available to pre-order on JD.com, Suning and Tmall in China and will go on sale starting October 24 in Gloss Black and Matt White colour options. Pricing starts at CNY 2,499 (US$ 377) for the 4GB RAM version and CNY 2,699 (US$ 407) for the 6GB RAM version.
