At the just concluded CES 2017, Qualcomm reportedly showed off a prototype of Nokia’s upcoming high-end smartphone. The Nokia 8 Flagship is expected to be go official at the MWC 2017 next month and is tipped to be one of the early set of smartphones with the Snapdragon 835 processor on-board.
Known internally with the codename – Supreme, the Nokia 8 is billed to arrive in two models – a higher end model with Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB of RAM and 24MP rear camera with OIS and EIS 3.0 while the other model will use the Snapdragon 821 processor along with 4GB of RAM and a lesser camera.

The device sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 64GB or 128GB built-in expandable storage, 12MP front selfie camera and front facing Dual cameras. It has the same metal unibody design as the Nokia 6, supports 4G LTE networks and sports a rear placed fingerprint sensor.
Talking about the Nokia 6, the device will go on sale next week (January 19th) and reports circulating has it that, more than 250,000 people have shown interest in buying the device on china’s biggest online retailer – JD.com. It is priced at CNY 1699 (~USD 245) and is currently exclusive to China.

The videos above show off the Nokia 8 flagship in action, although, it doesn’t clarify if the main cameras will feature the Carl Zeiss optics (used on the last ever flagship Lumia phones – the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL).
