HMD Global took to the MWC 2018, Barcelona to announce the launch of the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 Android One smartphones. All three flagships are the new and Android One variants of the existing Nokia 8, Nokia 7 and Nokia smartphones. The finish company also announced the Nokia Camera, a photo apps that comes pre-loaded on Nokia smartphones with Carl Zeiss optics.
Nokia 8 Sirocco
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is a more premium version of the exisiting Nokia 8. It retains cores features but adds fresh ones such as the inclusion of wireless charging support thanks to the new aluminium metal body frame plus glass body (rear and front) arrangement and rear fingerprint sensor.

The smartphones packs a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD curved edge-to-edge pOLED display, three-microphone array with Nokia OZO’s spatial audio technology, and dual rear camera setup – similar to the Nokia 7 Plus – a 12MP standard + 13MP telephoto sensors. Both rear cameras have Carl Zeiss optics.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is priced at EUR 749 and will go on sale in select markets starting April.
Nokia 7 Plus
As mentioned earlier, the Nokia 7 Plus brings some incremental updates to last year’s Nokia 7.It has a 6-inch FHD+ 18:9 display dual rear cameras with ZEISS optics that combines a primary 12MP camera with a secondary 13MP camera, and a 3,800mAh battery that delivers up to 2 days of battery life.

The Nokia 7 Plus will go on sale from early April for a price tag starting at EUR 399. It will arrive in Black, Copper + White and Copper colour options.
New Nokia 6
HMD Global also refreshed last year’s Nokia 6 with the new Nokia 6 Android One which is China’s Nokia 6 (2018) for the global market. The new model opts for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and depends on a 3,000mAh battery which delivers 12.5 hours of playback time.
The smartphone has the same 5.5-inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display, rear 16MP camera with dual-tone LED flash and front facing 8MP camera. It will arrive in two variants: 3GB RAM plus 32GB built-in storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB built-in storage. The 3GB and 4GB RAM model starts at EUR 249 and EUR 279.
