Alongside the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 Android One smartphones, HMD Global also added a new Android Go smartphone and feature phone. The Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) will go on sale starting April 2018 wile the Nokia 8810 4G Reloaded will go on sale in May for EUR 79.
The Nokia 1 Android Oreo (Go Edition) comes pre-loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo along with all essential Android Go Edition apps from Google. It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display, 1GB of RAM, rear 5MP camera with LED flash, front facing 2MP camera and a 2,150mAh battery.
Like HMD Global did with the new Nokia 3310 at the MWC 2017, the Finnish company has taped into nostalgia to launch the Nokia 8810 4G Reloaded. The feature phone will arrive with a 2.4-inch QVGA curved display, curved slider design and is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 205 Mobile Platform.
