Now under HMD Global, the Nokia brand recently released the Nokia 6, 5 and 3 as well as the refreshed Nokia 3310. Loyal fans of the Finnish company are already looking ahead for 2017 for the release of a new flagship – the Nokia 9 and designers have come up with a near realistic concept.
This Nokia 9 Concept, courtesy of PhoneDesigner (Facebook), is everything the flagship device might never be. The 6.2 mm thick device has an impressive bezel-less design (above and below the display), two front facing speakers, and a 5.5-inch screen with 2:1 aspect ratio. The display is also curved on the sides.
This inventive device looks la bit like the cross of the Galaxy S8 and LG G6 in terms of design although without the glass back. It features a rear dual-camera setup with the LED flash sitting just under the second camera and no physical home button except three on-screen keys.
Presumably pre-installed with Android Nougat OS or Android O, the Nokia 9 Concept is powered by the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 64-bit processor and a Q3 2017 release date is being tipped. While there is no info on the cameras (front and rear), a number of outlets have thrown Zeiss optics and 360-degree audio as well as water resistance in the mix.
