Since Nokia returned to the global scene with the new low- and mid-tier smartphones (3310, 3, 5 and 6), there have been rumours that the company is also working on a number of new flagships which could be released in coming months. Live images of a Nokia 9 prototype along with key specs has surfaced online thanks to Frandroid.com.
Joining the likes of the Huawei P10, Xiaomi Mi 6 and LG V20 with a dual rear camera setup, the Nokia 9 features two vertically lined 13MP (Monochrome + RGB) cameras with LED flash. It sports a 5.3-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD display with 530-nits of brightness and always-on feature.

Rumoured to be priced around the US$ 700 mark, this device runs Android 7.1 Nougat OS and relies on the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. We won’t entirely rule out a 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage version.
The Nokia 9 is outfitted with a USB Type-C port, fingerprint sensor in the physical home button and both the button and volume rockers are on the right side. It could ship with a charger with support for Quick Charge 3.0 (or 5V to 2.5A, 9V to 2A or 12V at 1.5A).
