Back to the main news, it is no news Nokia sold off its mobile division to Microsoft and under the agreement the company cannot make phones until the third quarter of 2016 ( Q3 2016 ). According to Recode; Nokia would hit the ground running by announcing new smartphones once the restriction has legally ended. It is still not clear how Nokia wants to pull this off but looking at the traction the company earned with the Nokia N1 tablet that’s enough to justify claims.

It is very likely Nokia is looking use the same process that brought the N1 tablet to life by only designing the device then it would collaborate with a manufacturing and distributing firm such as Foxconn to release the device. This means long Nokia loyalist would finally see a proper Android OS based Nokia smartphone.
