India-based, Notion Ink has announced the Notion Ink Able 10 – a Windows 2-in-tablet with detachable keyboard dock as the successor to the fellow 2-in-1 Cain tablet series. The new hybrid slate supports 3G connectivity and is priced at Rs. 24,990 (US$ 372) and is available exclusively via Snapdeal.
The Notion Ink Able 10 2-in-1 sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels (WXGA) screen resolution and is backed by a 8100mAh non-removable Lithium Polymer Ion battery which promises up to 7 hours batttery life. It runs Windows 10 OS Home Basic and has 3G-SIM support for Internet access.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8300 processor paired along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage space which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. For photography, there is a rear facing and front facing 2MP cameras with OV2680 sensors.
On the connectivity front, the Notion Ink Able 10 has a 1x USB 3.0 port, 1 x standard USB 2.0 port, 1x micro USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It measures 262 x 166.4 x 9.4 mm in dimensions, weighs 650 grams and comes pre-loaded with productivity apps such as Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, PowerPoint Mobile and OneNote.
