With the Z18 Mini already out of the way, ZTE’s Nubia sub-brand is expected to release the flagship Z18 and possibly other smartphones from the series in coming weeks. An upcoming smartphone with the code name: Nubia NX606J, believed to be the Z18, has been certified by TENAA in China.
The listing reveals that the Nubia NX606J (Z18) will feature a 5.99-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ TFT display with 18:9 aspect ratio, rear fingerprint sensor and a 3350mAh battery. For photography, the smartphone features 24MP + 8MP dual rear cameras while the front selfie snapper is a 8MP camera.
On the inside, it runs Android 8.0 Oreo OS, presumably with the latest Nubia UI on top, bringing about features such as NeoVision (expert-level photography) and NeoPower (power efficiency). It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.65GHz (most likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform) paired with either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB built-in storage.
The device also measures 8.55mm thick and weigh 172 grams. There is no word yet on pricing and availability, however, it is expected to arrive in Black and Golden colour options.
