Office Lens recognises the text on the images it captures thanks to OCR (Optical Character Recognition); it doesn’t only scan images, it also turns the paper into editable documents, texts, tables and images. The scanned image can also be converted into Ms Word (.doc) documents, Powerpoint (.ppt) presentations, JPGS and PDFs.
