Chinese manufacturer of rugged smartphone has announced its flagship smartphones – the Cloud Fox A7, Cloud Fox A7 Pro and Cloud Fox A7 18K Golden Version. The trio devices would be available in China for CNY 5580 ($900) for the standard version, CNY 6580 ($1080) for the Pro version and CNY 11,800 ($1900) for the 18K Golden version, starting May 28th.
Cloud Fox used the ‘Double Infusion’ technology to combine different materials into one for the Cloud Fox A7 series. It is IP68 certified – it is dustproof and waterproof that it can survive up to 30 minutes of submersion in 1.5 metres of water.
The Cloud Fox A7 comes with high end specs – it sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display protected by a multi layered glass. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek CPU clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is no word on expandable storage.
On the rear is a 16MP camera and a front facing 13MP camera; both camera are said to be able to work at one and same times. Connectivity option the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and support 4G LTE Cat.4 networks. The Cloud Fox A7 supports Dual SIM functionality, runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 3500mah battery.
The Cloud Fox A7 Pro has basically the same specs as the original A7 except difference in RAM and Storage – 3GB RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. The Cloud Fox A7 18K Golden Version as it’s name suggest comes with 18 Karat Gold and has the same specs as the original A7.
